Carlow’s Office of Career Development offers career coaching, job search help, networking and internship programs to undergraduate and graduate students.

Services offered:

  • Career planning services (resume help, one-on-one coaching and networking events)
  • Access to Handshake (career database for college students)
  • Micro-internship opportunities facilitated by Parker Dewey (most are paid, remote, short-term assignments)

Alumni services

Recent graduates can schedule up to three 90-minute personal advising sessions at the Office of Career Development for up to two years after graduation. 

Alumni who are more than two years from their graduation date can use: 

  • PA CareerLink: skill-building workshops, counseling and job search assistance
  • PA JobGateway: Pennsylvania job openings and career tools, including resume and interview guidance

Additionally, Carlow graduates are welcome at all on- and off-campus career and networking events sponsored by the Office of Career Development.

Employer services

Carlow’s Office of Career Development can help companies of all sizes find internship and employment candidates. Companies can:

  • Post job and internship opportunities for Carlow students and alumni 
  • Host information tables and set up interviews on campus
  • Register with Carlow’s free online career system, Handshake, to enter and manage opportunities
  • View or download Carlow’s recruiting policy [pdf]

Career Outcomes Report

The Carlow University Career Outcomes Report shows post-graduation employment data from a University survey as well as data from online sources, employers and faculty. Reporting is compliant with the national reporting guidelines established by National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
