Hopkins Lab | Student Facility

The Tom Hopkins Communication Lab, located on the fourth floor of the University Commons, can help you advance your verbal and nonverbal communication skills through a variety of mediums, including video, audio and face-to-face.

You can become a more effective communicator through workshops, tutoring and other support services available in person and online.

Services offered:

Learn how to upload videos and create effective slideshow presentations
Record videos or audio in interview or presentation rooms
Receive feedback on presentations and speech outlines from trained peer tutors
Edit videos with Camtasia software
Brainstorm ideas for different types of speeches
Combat speech anxiety through practice and guidance from tutors
