Operating within the SMART® Whole Person Care Model, the Carlow University Health and Wellness Clinic provide integrated, student-centered behavioral and medical health to promote health, wellbeing, and academic success. By covering student co-pays and providing care to all students regardless of insurance status, the clinic reduces financial barriers to exceptional-quality health services.

In-person and co-virtual care, supported by Tytocare’s state-of-the-art technology, appointments are readily available, typically on the same day.
The clinic space itself is designed to enhance comfort and care delivery and includes a full-service, CLIA-waived laboratory and point-of-care testing for real-time, convenient, and on-site diagnosis and treatment.

We provide the most exceptional, affordable same-day care availableto the Carlow community, ensuring timely, coordinated health services.
All students are eligible for care, regardless of insurance status.
Carlow absorbs insurance co-pays for all medical and behavioral health care services; insured students may receive a bill for unmet deductible costs, and uninsured students may receive a bill for laboratory or specialty services.
Services not covered by insurance, including professional program requirements (e.g., drug screens, titers, immunization verification, and clinical clearance physicals), are offered at discounted self-pay rates at the time of service.
A discounted fee schedule for self-pay laboratory testing related to program requirements is available at the clinic.
Services are available for students’ families, per their current insurance coverage.

Carlow's healthcare team isn't simply trained in technical knowledge and competencies, but deeply skilled in communication, empathy, and compassion because, at Carlow, we believe in healing. Staffed five days a week by a full-time, on-campus team, led by a Medical Director and Family Nurse Practitioner. The team is licensed to screen, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for illness and injury.
