Asia brings more than a decade of healthcare experience spanning emergency medicine, intensive care, and outpatient clinical practice. She serves as the Manager of Clinical Operations and Medical Assistant for the Carlow University Health & Wellness Clinic, where she combines operational leadership with hands-on patient care to support a welcoming, efficient, and student-centered healthcare environment. Recognized for her compassionate approach and commitment to excellence, Asia is dedicated to creating positive healthcare experiences while helping students achieve their academic goals through improved health and wellness.

In her dual role, Asia oversees the clinic’s daily operations while providing direct clinical care as a Medical Assistant. She partners closely with licensed medical providers and the Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician to deliver comprehensive, whole-person care that emphasizes prevention, wellness, continuity of care, and positive health outcomes for Carlow University students, faculty, and staff. She is also cross-trained in Patient Care Coordinator responsibilities, allowing her to provide administrative and front-desk support whenever needed to ensure seamless clinic operations.

Beyond her clinical responsibilities, Asia plays an active role in advancing operational initiatives, quality improvement efforts, student wellness programming, and special projects that strengthen the clinic’s services. Her ability to balance leadership responsibilities with direct patient interaction allows her to adapt quickly to evolving healthcare needs while maintaining a strong focus on exceptional service, collaboration, and organizational excellence.

Prior to joining Carlow University, Asia served as a Certified Medical Assistant with Allegheny Health Network. She also worked as a Patient Care Technician Specialist in both the Medical Intensive Care Unit at UPMC Presbyterian and the Emergency Department at UPMC McKeesport. These experiences provided extensive exposure to acute and critical care while strengthening her clinical judgment, adaptability, and ability to perform effectively in fast-paced healthcare settings.

Asia is certified as an EMT-Basic through the UPMC Freedom House 2.0 Workforce Development Program and holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration from the Community College of Allegheny County. She is passionate about improving access to quality healthcare, fostering meaningful patient relationships, and supporting the overall health and success of the Carlow University community through compassionate, collaborative care.
