Scholarships & Awards: Traditional Transfer

If you’re planning to transfer to Carlow University and have graduated from high school within the last four years, you’re eligible for scholarships and awards.

• Merit scholarships
• Carlow awards
• Outside scholarships

Merit Scholarships

Merit Scholarship amounts are based on GPA and range from $10,000 to $18,000 per year. They are presented at the time of admission.

Carlow awards

Carlow awards, available to traditional undergraduate transfer students, may be combined with Merit scholarships and institutional grants as long as they do not exceed the cost of tuition.

• Legacy Award: Children or grandchildren of alumni (who completed a degree at Carlow University) will qualify for a $2,000 per year award
• Phi Theta Kappa Award: Full-time traditional transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa, with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.500, qualify for a $2,000 per year award
• Community College Award: Full-time traditional students transferring from a community college with an associate degree and at least 60 transferable credits will qualify for a $2,000 per year award
