Carlow University’s Early Learning Center (ELC) provides a high quality, full-day early educational program for children ages six weeks to 3 years. It provides children with a balance of social, emotional, physical and intellectual development and includes collaboration among staff, parents and children.

Within its safe, enriching and comfortable environment, students engage in active, meaningful learning that develops their maximum potential.

Carlow’s Early Learning Center has large, colorful murals and many toys neatly tucked away in shelves.

  • Operating hours Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Enrollment is open to Carlow University staff and the public
  • Continuity of care allows teachers and children to transition together
  • A paper application is required; currently a wait list
  • Licensed by the Department of Human Services
  • Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Keystone STARS programs, holding a STAR 4 accreditation
