Children attending the Campus Laboratory School (CLS) have access to excellent athletic instruction, and the opportunity to participate in various organized sports teams. CLS students compete in the Diocese of Pittsburgh sports leagues for cross country in early fall, basketball in late fall and winter, and soccer in the spring. They can also receive tennis lessons and participate in the Kids of Steel running club for younger students.
Join us for a morning of learning and fun, reinforcing foundational literacy skills through 15 hours a week of targeted, structured, multi-sensory learning experiences. Camp Carlow is universally designed to meet the needs of all students with reading-based learning differences.

The Trinity Summer Program offers Montessori and Reggio programs for current CLS Montessori/Reggio Kindergarten students, incoming Montessori and Reggio students, and community members ages 3-5. Staffed by Montessori/Reggio lead teachers and pre-service educators, the program provides summer fun along with consistency of curriculum and continuity of care.
We invite you to join us for the Trinity Summer Program! All Trinity students can begin their summer engaged with Montessori learning activities and didactic materials or Reggio inspired provocations and invitations to play! The summer program also offers a wonderful orientation to our program for our newly enrolling or prospective students. Staffed by Montessori and Reggio lead teachers and pre-service educators, the program provides extra outdoor play experiences and summer fun along with consistency of curriculum and continuity of care.
The Montessori Peace Garden will be open daily for gardening, water play, and summer themed activities. Reggio students will have the opportunity to visit the CLS Outdoor Classroom. Both programs will make use of the Trinity play yard for outdoor play and STEAM exploration with ramps and the magnet wall.
The 2 classrooms feature a shared curriculum focus on children’s literature with a featured book each week. Both classrooms will use the book as a basis for language and literacy activities. And most exciting will be the addition of a storywalk on the play yard!
Additionally, we are going to incorporate some aspects of Brick Club into the summer activities. The Science curriculum will be Lego based engineering and construction. Children will have the opportunity to build summer/beach Lego models in teams of engineers, suppliers, and builders. There will also be brick challenges and opportunities for free building.
