Supporting Students on the Autism Spectrum: Strategies, Relationships, and Sensory-Friendly Classrooms

Welcome to our online event focused on Supporting Students on the Autism Spectrum! Teaching students on the autism spectrum requires equal parts knowledge, creativity, and heart. In this session, you’ll gain practical strategies to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally—whether you work in an inclusive setting or a specialized classroom. We’ll explore how to build authentic relationships, foster communication, and encourage independence, while also addressing common sensory needs that can impact learning. Through real examples, tools you can use right away, and a focus on dignity-centered teaching, you’ll leave with fresh ideas and confidence to make your classroom a place where every student can succeed.
