Miss Kimmie began her higher education degrees at Carlow University studying psychology of young children. After obtaining her degrees in child and family counseling and working briefly in hospice care, she made the decision to go into teaching. She became a teacher at the extended program at the Campus Lab School. She then worked for 5 years with primarily three year olds before moving to Montessori. Miss Kimmie found the words and teaching of Dr Maria Montessori to be ones that resonated with her own thoughts on education and went back to school to be a certified Montessori teacher for 3 to 6 year olds. Miss Kimmie is committed to not only the CLS but to providing a quality education to her young children through the 3 year cycle of our Montessori program.
