How You Can SupportAnn Marie Evans is an Adjunct Lecturer in Carlow’s MBA Program and Undergraduate Healthcare Management Program. Her areas of expertise include Finance and Accounting, as well as healthcare operations, including Health Information Management, Value-Based Health, Healthcare Contracting and Reimbursement, Data Analytics, Physician Compensation, and Mergers and Acquisitions.
Before joining the Carlow faculty, Ann Marie had a successful 16-year career as a Chief Financial Officer in a large academic medical center. She was also the CFO of a healthcare consulting firm that she assisted in selling to Private Equity. Her independent consulting work has included working with academic medical centers. Service includes Board Trustee for a community health system in Western PA.
Education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration. She was awarded Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching by Carlow University in 2024. Publication in process includes co-author as part of a University of Pittsburgh collaboration on a book chapter in a new text (Fundamentals of Healthcare Management, Springer), publication target 2025.

Ann Marie’s areas of research interest include Healthcare Leadership, Ethics, and Board Governance with a focus on Community Health Sustainability. She is the co-founder of a start-up venture named Community Health Partners 360.
