Emily Herman has dedicated over a decade to practicing as a Physician Assistant (PA) in rural and underserved areas, focusing on primary and women’s health care. Her extensive clinical experience encompasses work in the Bronx and Queens boroughs of New York City, where she has consistently provided compassionate, evidence-based care to diverse patient populations. In addition to her clinical practice, Emily has been actively involved in PA education for the past three years. She has successfully facilitated birthing simulations, led problem-based learning sessions, and delivered engaging lectures, all aimed at fostering student success. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation of physician assistants is palpable, as she strives to instill her passion for the field and inspire her students to excel in their careers. Emily is deeply dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, ensuring her students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in their future roles.
