As an educator, Dr. Diehl strives to provide foundational knowledge while empowering each unique student to think critically, explore deeply, and confidently shape their own path to impact the world. Dr. Diehl’s research interested include BSW degree holder retention, interventions for at-risk youth, suicide prevention, and housing security.

Dr. Diehl collaborates with ACH Clear Pathway’s REACH Program, an after school, art based, trauma informed program for adolescents who have experienced trauma.
