2017’s Undergraduate Scholarship Day

Calling all undergraduate students to showcase your research, creative writing, project-based work, and art!

Please join us in celebrating our 17th annual Undergraduate Scholarship Day on Thursday, April 20 from 10am to 3pm in A.J. Palumbo Hall of Science and Technology. We are now accepting applications for our undergraduates to share their scholarly projects with our Carlow community. We welcome our students to display their academic achievements in the format that best suits them, as we can accommodate individual or group projects in a variety of platforms; including posters, spoken presentations with or without media support, panel discussions, portfolio displays, and creative expression sessions. Feel free to use the contact information below if you have a project that you would like to share, but have questions regarding content or which format may be best for your purposes.

Applicants can go to the student portal main page (myportal.carlow.edu) and click the provided button to access the application form, or visit CelticOnline. All submissions are due by Monday, April 3.

After applying, all participants will receive a follow-up email with further details regarding the event, including the specific time that they will be presenting on Scholarship Day.
Please note that classes are not canceled during Scholarship Day. Course instructors may choose to have class during their regular scheduled times, or they may choose to direct their students to Scholarship Day sessions, have students apply to participate in Scholarship Day, or offer an alternative learning experience that allows students to participate in Scholarship Day.

Please feel free to contact the event organizers with specific questions regarding the event:
Bill Kowallis (wjkowallis@carlow.edu) Ada Lovo-Martinez (aflovo-martinez@carlow.edu)

We have faculty representatives from each college for participants who may have content- specific questions regarding their projects:
College of Health and Wellness: Jessica Huber (jmhumber@carlow.edu)
College of Leadership and Social Change: Stephanie Wilsey (sawilsey@carlow.edu)
College of Learning and Innovation: Matthew Fagerburg (mvfagerburg@carlow.edu)

We look forward to seeing you there!
