Community Education at Carlow
Community Education at Carlow University is a leader in preparing adults for today’s workforce, providing comprehensive and individualized services that promote the development of self-respect and the achievement of personal, educational and financial goals. We have served more than 10,000 families over the last decade, offering free services and training to individuals in transition.
We offer a wide selection of programs to choose from:
- New Choices/New Options is a state-wide career development program, designed to help single parents, displaced homemakers or those interested in non-traditional careers to achieve lasting self-sufficiency.
- Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) offers free services to adults preparing for their GED or postsecondary education, and those who want to improve workplace foundation skills.
Community Education also offers specialized resources and workshops that can help with understanding tax laws, financial satiations such as getting out of debt, financial aid, stress reduction techniques, dressing professionally, and creating a home-based business.
