Find your Art & Design degree at Carlow

You can develop your artistic skill in the studio or lab with one of our on-campus art and design degrees. During your undergraduate or graduate studies you can pursue the art and design track of your choice while developing your 2D or 3D skills. You will graduate with a professional portfolio of work.

Minor in Theatre

You can combine your interest in creative arts, humanities and sciences with a minor in Theatre. In this program you will develop your mind, body and imagination with a combination of thinking, doing and creative problem-solving. You can get your hands dirty with everything from building sets to being the star of the show.

Carlow University’s Rosemary Heyl Theatre is a professional space that features programming by the theater program and the University Theatre Group, which is composed of both Carlow students and Pittsburgh community members and has produced shows from William Shakespeare to Tom Stoppard.

Make a difference: Minor in Public Policy & Leadership

A minor in Public Policy and Leadership can help you become a change agent. This program will help you learn how to analyze, evaluate and implement policy decisions.

You will gain understanding of the political constraints faced by policymakers, how to critically evaluate the effectiveness of policies and how to measure the performance of alternative approaches to policy implementation.

You can develop your creative passions with a bachelor’s in Art or choose a focus, ranging from ceramics to graphic design, from Carlow University. With a highly adaptable curriculum that can be suited to your educational interests, the bachelor’s in Art provides a solid foundation in art history and studio art.

Art Major Curriculum

Earn a business management degree that goes beyond traditional business education. If you are planning a career in the energetic, versatile world of business, a bachelor’s in business management will help you build a solid foundation. Online Degree

Gain the knowledge you need at your convenience with our online degree option. When applying, indicate your interest in the online option.

3-Year Degree

Finish your bachelor’s degree in three years by following a 3-year academic plan. Courses are taken across fall, spring and summer terms with summer courses completely online. When applying, indicate your interest in the 3-Year Degree option.

Accelerated

Fast track your way to a master’s by taking graduate courses as an undergraduate student. Course credits count toward both degrees. Apply for the accelerated option after your sophomore year.
