Susan Rubisch-Gisler, PhD Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Business Management, Accounting, and Ethics

Dr. Rubisch-Gisler has been a full-time faculty member at Carlow for 26 years. She has also served as the interim dean of the College of Professional Studies at Carlow.  Her areas of expertise include labor relations, collective bargaining, human resource management, and business/employment law.  She has designed several courses in these subject areas at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Her main research areas are the impact of the National Labor Relations Act on unionization and the successful integration of labor law and theory into undergraduate and graduate business curriculums.

Prior to rejoining the full-time Carlow faculty in 2000, Dr. Rubisch-Gisler had a successful career as a student affairs administrator at the University of Pittsburgh. She directed the Student Judicial System for 11+  years. 

Dr. Rubisch-Gisler has authored several articles and presented her work in both labor relations and student judicial systems at several conferences.
