EN Poetry, Fiction, or Nonfiction Practicum – 4 credits
EN702 MFA Residency (Ireland) – 4 credits
EN Poetry, Fiction, or Nonfiction Practicum II – 4 credits
EN703 MFA Residency (Pittsburgh) – 4 credits
EN Poetry, Fiction, or Nonfiction Practicum III – 4 credits
EN704 MFA Residency (Ireland) – 4 credits
EN Poetry, Fiction, or Nonfiction Practicum IV – 4 credits
EN MFA Creative Manuscript – 4 credits
Total Credits = 30
Students typically begin the program in Spring with a Pittsburgh residency followed by a practicum. They then complete a June residency in Ireland following by a Fall practicum. This sequence is then repeated for the second year before students can begin a Manuscript semester in the third year. They must complete at least one manuscript semester to complete the program.
