Ann Bisignani is the Graduate Program Coordinator at Carlow. She interfaces with and advises all students in the MEd, EdD, and Graduate Certificate programs in the College of Education & Social Work, from students’ initial inquiries about program offerings through graduation. On a daily basis, Ann is committed to the quality of the graduate student experience, regularly engaging with students in all programs via email, phone conferences, or virtual meetings to provide information and answer questions. Because of her extensive experience in K-12 education as a teacher, a high school principal, and an Assistant to the Superintendent in a high-performing school district, Ann collaborates with school districts and educational entities in the region and across the state to connect students with internship placements and job opportunities in a variety of settings. She also serves as the Program Director for the Principal’s Program within the College and teaches within the program in her role as adjunct faculty. As a member of the Doctoral Planning Committee, Ann worked with a team of faculty in the creation, design, and implementation of a new Education Doctorate program at Carlow, and she continues to work with that team to welcome new cohorts each fall and to meet the needs of all students within the program. With a passion for preparing the next generation of highly effective pre-service teachers and leaders, Ann’s commitment to study and research on teaching, learning, and leading is what inspires her work at the university.
