School of Nursing

Carlow maintains a rich history of innovations in nursing education since the founding of the School of Nursing in 1953. This tradition continues today as the School of Nursing consistently responds to community needs.

WHAT IS NURSING?
Professional nursing integrates art and science with a “high-touch and high-tech” approach. Using cutting-edge technology, nurses care for the sick and promote and maintain the highest possible levels of health and wellness, by caring for the whole person, family, and community.

NURSING AT CARLOW

All of our programs have been continuously accredited since 1961, first by the National League of Nursing and in 1988 by the Commissions on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
