Question: What types of dining services are available on campus?
Answer: All self-serve food services have been eliminated, and there are no buffet stations. All food is packaged to grab and go at stations containing sneeze guards. There are hot food options as well as a variety of sandwiches, salads and sushi. Salad bar is grab and go with pre-made salads. Hydration stations have been eliminated, and use of personal mugs, cups or containers is prohibited at the fountain beverage stations.
Question: What are the locations and hours for dining?
Answer: Beginning May 17, 2021, Tiernan Dining Hall will be closed for the duration of an urgent renovation to ensure fire code compliance. All campus meals will be prepared and served out of Frank’s Café until August 2, 2021.
They are noted below with hours effective January 15, 2021.
Tiernan Dining Hall (Closed between May 17, 2021 and August 2, 2021):
Open for Lunch Monday – Friday 11am-2pm
Open for Dinner Monday – Friday 5-7pm
Open for Brunch Saturday and Sunday – 11am-2pm
Open for Dinner Saturday and Sunday – 5-7pm.
Closed until August
Frank’s Café (Beginning January 11)
Monday – Thursday 7:30 am–10pm
Open for Breakfast 7:30am-11am
Coffee, pasties and Quik Piks available from 11am-6pm
Late night menu open from 6-10pm.
Friday 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m
Open 24 hours day/7 days a week
Question: How are physical distancing practices being implemented in these areas?
Answer: Traffic is limited in the dining spaces to allow for a 6-foot distancing between individuals. Seating reflects this social distancing, and floor decals guide users between grab and go stations and the checkout line.
