Question: What types of dining services are available on campus?
Answer: All self-serve food services have been eliminated, and there are no buffet stations. All food is packaged to grab and go at stations containing sneeze guards. There are hot food options as well as a variety of sandwiches, salads and sushi. Salad bar is grab and go with pre-made salads. Hydration stations have been eliminated, and use of personal mugs, cups or containers is prohibited at the fountain beverage stations.
Question: What are the locations and hours for dining?
Answer: They are noted below with hours effective January 15, 2021.
Tiernan Dining Hall:
Open for Lunch Monday – Friday 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Open for Dinner Monday – Friday 5-7 p.m.
Open for Brunch Saturday and Sunday – 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Open for Dinner Saturday and Sunday – 5-7 p.m.
Closed until August
Frank’s Café (Beginning January 11)
Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m.
Open for Breakfast 7:30 a.m.-11 a.m.
Coffee, pasties and Quik Piks available from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Late night menu open from 6-10 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m
Open 24 hours day/7 days a week
Question: How are physical distancing practices being implemented in these areas?
Answer: Traffic is limited in the dining spaces to allow for six-foot distancing between individuals. Seating reflects this social distancing, and floor decals guide users between grab-and-go stations and the checkout line.
