Dear Carlow Community,

Below are a few updates:

NEW Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

PPE is now available for purchase through Carlow Market. The process is designed to be a quick and easy way to order products by utilizing the online shopping process in Carlow Market. Be sure to reference (and save) the attached step-by-step instructional guide.

First, visit Carlow Market. Second, read the instructions on the Carlow PPE supplier landing page. Third, place your requisition. It will be routed for review to the appropriate approver(s). Facilities will then receive your approved order and will contact you to arrange for pick-up. All items are at no cost to your departmental budget.

NEW Spring classes

The course schedule for Spring is now posted in WebAdvisor.

RELATIVELY NEW On-campus events

If you are planning an in-person event on campus, you must complete an event request form for approval. If you are planning a virtual event, we also suggest you complete the event request for it to appear on the event calendar (no approval necessary). Visit the intranet (myPortal), link into Carlow Services, and then Event Resources. There you will find information about events.

Staying safe

Be sure to frequent the Campus Dashboard on our website for daily updates on COVID-19 cases on campus. If you have any COVID-like symptoms, please do not come to campus. We applaud you for the diligence to safety that has been demonstrated by our internal community; there have been a miniscule number of failed screenings on campus.

And if you haven’t downloaded the state’s new “COVID Alert PA” app, please do so today. This free app can be easily downloaded to your cell phone from the Apple Store or Google Play. It’s a great, responsible tool to combat the spread of the coronavirus in our state.

Thank you for your support of the common good. Stay safe.

Sincerely,

The COVID-19 Re-Entry and Resiliency Implementation Team
