Students encouraged to view course schedules in WebAdvisor
University Communication to Students
Each week moves us closer to your fall return. Therefore, the University will continue to push out specific details about the measures that we are implementing to ensure a safe campus experience while continuing to provide transformational educational opportunities for every student.
Provost Ghosh sent an email
notifying you that the University has posted course modalities on WebAdvisor, which enables you to see how each of your classes will be delivered in the fall. I encourage you to log in and view your course schedule for all the details.
As a reminder, I’d also like to direct you to a
new section of our website
that is populated with answers to the many questions you may have about your fall return. We regularly update the section as information becomes available, so visit it frequently.
Given the surge in cases we have seen around the country, and in Allegheny County, we ask that
all students who are moving onto campus, or who are enrolled in hybrid or in-person classes, self-quarantine for 14 days prior to returning to campus.
Pennsylvania and Allegheny County have been working diligently to mitigate the spread from confirmed COVID-19 cases. Your habits for the common good – wearing face coverings, washing hands with soap regularly, social distancing and cleaning surfaces after use – will contribute to our effectiveness as we return in the fall.
As we enter into August, please continue to look for detailed communications about what to expect this fall. And in the meantime, please stay safe and healthy.
