Carlow launches campus climate survey on sexual and domestic violence

Dear Students,

Allegheny County continues to experience downward trending case counts this week, dropping below a 15% positivity rate. Nonetheless, the county remains in the high-risk category. Details on the “County View” may be found by clicking here. Please review additional important information for you to know this week below.

New This Week:

Masks Available

Please wear recommended masks that are properly fitting. Disposable, white surgical style with nose fitting and KN95 masks are available should you forget one or need to replace the one you have. Cloth masks, while fashionable, have been proven ineffective. Please stop by Campus Police Dispatch, Frances Warde Hall, to obtain one.

Your Voice Matters: Take the Carlow Campus Climate Survey on Sexual and Domestic Violence

Please consider taking this survey regardless of whether you have experienced unwanted sexual contact or sexual assault or not. Your perceptions are critical, and we value your feedback. The results of this confidential survey will be used to improve policies, practices and support for students at Carlow.

Survey Invitation and Gift Card Giveaway: Look for the survey invitation in your email inbox or scan the QR code from posters around campus. As a thank you, you can opt to participate in a gift card giveaway at the end of the survey.

Responding to Health Issues

As we navigate the pandemic environment, please use the following guidelines:

  • Regardless of vaccination status, if you have any COVID-19-related symptoms, please do not come to campus. Instead, please contact Health Services, 412-578-6474, and/or your primary care physician (PCP) for further guidance.
