preparing for your visit

Before you arrive, here are a few resources to familiarize yourself with to keep from feeling overwhelmed upon your arrival.

Orientation is required of all new students – from first-year undergrads to graduate students – to ensure you are familiar with the many Carlow services and resources that are there to help you succeed. If you are NOT a first-year student (a.k.a. freshman), you will need to register for orientation. (First years, we know you're coming! Our admissions team has already taken care of this for you) If you have family coming in from out of the area, view our listing of nearby accommodations. We also have some parking tips for your time on campus during orientation.

Make sure you complete online orientation found on CelticOnline. A link to complete online orientation will be sent to you via e-mail.

If you've received your Carlow email address, visit this technology checklist for new students to check out how to change your password, log in to email, and see all that's going on around campus via myPortal (our internal community website).

If you are planning to live on-campus, check out our Residence Life page.
