Danielle is the director of CSCIL (Celtic Simulation Center for Innovative Learning) and an associate professor in nursing. She received her BSN from Carlow University, MSN from Waynesburg University and DNP from Chatham University. Her areas of practice include medical-surgical, geriatrics, and cardiology.
I enjoy giving back to the community and offer free Friends and Family workshops to teach the community how to recognize s/s of heart attack, stroke, and how to perform CPR. Students from the The Campus School of Carlow University come to the CSCIL as a field trip to go over what they are learning in their science classes. In addition, Gwen's Girls and Allegheny Intermediate are two after-school programs for underprivileged girls that visit the CSCIL each year for lessons on how math and science are used in daily life.
