PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University men's basketball lost, 105-66, to crosstown opponent Point Park University Tuesday at CCAC Allegheny.

The Pioneers (13-12, 5-6 RSC) went on a 14-4 run five minutes into the first half to gain a 23-11 lead over the Celtics (1-23, 0-11 RSC) early.

Point Park held a 45-29 advantage heading into halftime, and came out in the second half with the same intensity, out-scoring Carlow, 60-37, in the second half. For every shot the Celtics made, it felt as though the Pioneers made two.

It was a similar score to the first meeting of the teams in December, which ended 91-65 in favor of Point Park.

Five Pioneers scored double-digit points in the win, and Point Park out-rebounded the Celtics, 51-21. Carlow shot 45 percent from the field to Point Park's 59.2 percent. The Celtics shot 58.8 percent from the foul line.

Freshman Tre' Harvey (Pittsburgh, Pa.) shot 50 percent from the field and was 5 for 5 from the free throw line to lead Carlow with 16 points on the night. Eugene Goodwine (FR/Pittsburgh, Pa.) added 10 points.

Carlow travels to WVU Tech for a 7:30 p.m. RSC game on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Links to live coverage can be found at
