MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Carlow University juniors Larissa Kijowski and Olivia Miller earned River States Conference Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors for Jan. 27-Feb. 2

Kijowski set two school records to pick up RSC Track Athlete of the Week. The Dayton, Pa., native broke her own school records in the 1,000 meters and the mile at the YSU Mid-Major Invitational.

Her time of 3:02.38 in the 1,000 placed second at the NCAA Division I meet and just missed NAIA national qualification by three tenths of a second. She also ran the mile in 5:18 for 12th place.

Miller kept her claim on RSC Field Athlete of the Week. It is the third week in a row she's won the honor.

Miller, from Bolivar, Pa., qualified for the NAIA indoor national championship in the pentathlon with her performance at the YSU Mid-Major Invitational.

She racked up 3,059 points to qualify and set three school records in the process. That put her third of 21 athletes at the NCAA Division I meet. She also competed in the triple jump placing 12th with a distance of 10.89 meters.

The Celtics will be at the RSC Indoor Track & Field Championships Friday, Feb. 7 at Tiffin, Ohio.
