Miller earns first place in triple jump at Susquehanna Orange & Maroon Classic

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- Olivia Miller (JR/Bolivar, Pa.) earned first place in triple jump at the Susquehanna Orange & Maroon Classic at Garrett Sports Complex Field House Saturday.

Miller jumped 11.07 meters - enough to land her in first place out of 21 competitors from NCAA DII and III schools. She beat her previous school record by almost one meter, a mark she's held since Jan. 27, 2019.

Miller also placed second of 17 in high jump with a height of 1.52 meters.

Jordan Palmer (JR/Burgettstown, Pa.) threw shot put 7.86 meters to land 29th of 36 in her only event on the day.
