NCAA DII Fairmont State handles Men’s Basketball on the road

FAIRMONT, W.Va. --- Carlow University men's basketball returned to action with a 123-48 loss to NCAA DII Fairmont State University Saturday on the road.

The Fighting Falcons (9-2) took a 64-26 lead into halftime and did not let up in the second half against the Celtics (0-15).

Fairmont State out-scored the Celtics, 59-22, in the second half.

Carlow shot 27.3 percent from the field compared to Fairmont's 59.5 percent conversion. The Falcons out-rebounded the Celtics, 58-30, on the day and eight players score in double digits.

Marcus Millien (SO/Orlando, Fla.) was 8 for 17 with four treys to lead the Celtics with 20 points. Jenkins Kimber (JR/Philadelphia, Pa.) added 11 points off the bench.
