FINDLAY, Ohio --- Carlow University men's basketball lost an
NCAA DII matchup on the road against the University of Findlay
(Ohio), 106-52, Tuesday.
The Oilers (2-4) shot 56.5 percent from the field while the
Celtics (0-8) shot just 30.3 percent. Carlow shot just three free
throws on the night, but made every single one.
The Oilers went on a 16-2 run mid-way through the first half and
took a 60-18 lead into halftime.
Findlay out-rebounded the Celtics, 46-33, and Carlow's bench put
up 40 points in the effort.
The Celtics committed 21 turnovers and the Oilers capitalized
off that, scoring 22 points off turnovers.
Marcus Millien (SO/Orlando, Fla.) led the team
with 19 points, which included five treys. Freshmen Eugene
Goodwine (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Tre'
Harvey (Pittsburgh, Pa.) both scored eight points off
Carlow travels to Malone (Ohio) University Nov. 27 for a 3 p.m.
