RIO GRANDE, Ohio --- Carlow University volleyball adjusted to a new lineup, and three players handled positions they were not accustomed to in Saturday's match against the University of Rio Grande (Ohio).

Despite some scrappy play, Rio Grande (16-10, 4-7 RSC) swept the Celtics, 3-0.

Freshman Ellie Cook (Connellsville, Pa.) hit .294 on the day with seven kills, and Katie Tarasovich (FR/Cranberry Twp., Pa.) hit .250 with seven kills to help lead the Carlow offense. Cook added 13 digs on the day.

Carlow (6-15, 0-11 RSC) out-hit the RedStorm in the final two sets, but could not come up with the win. Rio Grande won 25-19, 25-14 and 25-17.

The Celtics face crosstown rival Point Park on Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. The Pioneers swept Carlow during the first meeting of the teams in St. Joe's on Sept. 24. Links to live coverage can be found at
