Volleyball loses, 3-0, on the road against Cincinnati Christian

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Carlow University volleyball lost a River States Conference match, 3-0, to Cincinnati Christian University on the road Friday.

The Celtics (6-12) fell to 0-8 in conference action against the RSC West Division Eagles (12-15, 1-7 RSC).

Carlow lost the first set, 25-15, and made a game of the second set, ultimately falling, 25-22. The Eagles won the third set 25-18 to sweep the game.

Junior Cache Street (Wilmerding, Pa.) had 11 kills for the Celtics, and Carlow hit .151 on the night compared to Cincinnati Christian's .200.

CCU put up 71 digs to Carlow's 27 and had eight blocks on the night.

Carlow is looking to snap a 10-game losing streak, but is up against tough competition Saturday, Oct. 19 at Indiana University Kokomo, who leads the RSC West Division with a 7-1 record. Game time is set for 12 p.m., and links to live coverage can be found at https://bit.ly/VB_19.
