Men’s Soccer shut out at Midway (Ky.)

MIDWAY, Ky. --- Carlow University men's soccer came up empty-handed in a 5-0 loss at Midway (Ky.) University in a River States Conference match Saturday.

Sudesh Tiwari (FR/Pittsburgh, Pa.) put three shots on goal, and sophomore Janvier Ramson (Pittsburgh, Pa.) added two, but neither player found the back of the net.

Midway (1-10, 1-3 RSC) had 15 shots on goal, and Colt Zappa (SR/Pittsburgh, Pa.) stopped 10 in the complete game effort for the Celtics (0-7, 0-3 RSC).

Midway's Thomas Sidebottom scored in the 31st minute and completed a hat trick at 46' and 50'. The Eagles added back to back goals less than a minute apart in the 79th minute.

Midway held a 9-4 corner kick advantage and out-shot the Celtics, 28-8.
