Men’s Soccer upended in River States Conference game against Asbury (Ky.)

WILMORE, Ky. --- Carlow University men's soccer lost, 11-1, against Asbury (Ky.) University on the road Thursday.

The Eagles (3-8, 1-2 RSC) snapped a four-game losing streak with the win over the Celtics (0-6, 0-2 RSC).

Janvier Ramson (SO/Pittsburgh, Pa.) had the lone, unassisted goal for the Celtics in the 39th minute.

Asbury out-shot the Celtics, 21-5, and had a 5-1 corner kick advantage. The Eagles had 14 shots on goal in the lopsided match, scoring 10 goals in the first half alone. The Celtics had just three shots on goal.

Carlow travels to Midway (Ky.) University for a 3 p.m. RSC game Saturday, Oct. 5. Links to live coverage at:
