FLORENCE, Ind. --- Carlow University women's golf finished seventh of seven teams at the River States Conference Fall Preview Tuesday at the Belterra Resort.

The Celtics wrapped up the fall season with an overall score of 861. The team shot 25 strokes better than the first round of play on Monday, but it was not enough to move up in the standings.

Three golfers improved in the individual standings. Natalie Abt (SR/Glenshaw, Pa.) shot a 97 to improve by six strokes and move up to tie for 31st place.

Senior Samantha Stefanik (Apollo, Pa.) moved up two spots to 36th place by taking 14 strokes off her Monday score, and freshman Brenna Marcoz (Murrysville, Pa.) also improved her game during the second round.

Carlow returns for its regular season in the spring.
