Women’s Golf completes first round of RSC Fall Preview

FLORENCE, Ind. --- Carlow University women's golf finished the first round of the River States Conference Fall Preview in seventh place after 18 holes at the Belterra Resort Monday.

Senior Natalie Abt (Glenshaw, Pa.) led the Celtics with a 103, and Maria Lamonde (SR/Pittsburgh, Pa.) shot 105 in the 44-person field.

There are nine teams - seven complete teams and two individuals - represented at the event, which is a preview for the RSC Women's Golf Championship at the same venue in the spring.

The Midway (Ky.) University team finished in first place on the day with a score of 327. Lexie Fields and Jo Wisecup of Indiana University East tied for first place in the individual standings, shooting six over par with a 78.
