GROVE CITY, Pa. – Carlow University men’s golf finished 10th of 11 teams at the Grove City McBride-Behringer-Allen Invitational at Grove City Country Club on Thursday.
The event set a tournament record with 66 athletes competing from 10 different colleges and universities.
As a team, the Celtics shot 384 on the day.
Sophomore Louis Stefanik (Vandergrift, Pa.) shot 86, and freshman Jake Stariha (Leechburg, Pa.) shot 89 to lead the Celtics. They tied for 31st and 39th respectively in the individual results.
Grove City’s “A” team won with a score of 312, and Washington & Jefferson’s Casey O’Korn shot a 74 to take the individual title.
The Celtics travel to the River States Conference Championships April 14-16 at the Belterra Resort in Florence, Ind.
