Michelle joined Carlow University’s School of Leadership and Management in 2018, and currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, management, social entrepreneurship, and writing skills. She is also an adjunct at Duquesne University where she teaches graduate courses in business ethics. Michelle has worked as a freelance writer and consultant for the past 16 years, specializing in the development of online educational content and professional workshops. For the past three years she has worked with developers to create OER content, including videos, an app, and a teacher’s guide to help make civics education more accessible for both students and teachers in grades 6-12.

Her research interests focus on ethics, communication, and online education, with the overall goal of finding ways to help marginalized students take a more active role in their education.
