NAIA No. 13 -ranked IU East ends Men’s Basketball season with a loss

RICHMOND, Ind. --- Carlow University men’s basketball ended its season with a 121-86 River States Conference loss at NAIA No. 13-ranked Indiana University East Saturday.

The Red Wolves (23-7, 15-2 RSC) led, 60-31, heading into the locker room at halftime against the Celtics (1-29, 0-17 RSC, 1-1 USCAA).

Carlow shot 80 percent (16 for 20) from the charity stripe but only 34.8 percent (31 for 89) from the field.

Comparatively, the Red Wolves shot 56.4 percent (44 for 78) from the field.

Four Celtics put up double digits on the night.

Junior Rece Henneman (Clarksville, Pa.) scored a team-high 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds. He was 6 for 7 from the free throw line.

Cole Novotney (SR/Brownsville, Pa.) added 17 points, including five treys.

Ryan Jackson (SR/Baltimore, Md.) and Brenlee Reedy (JR/Linville, Va.) each contributed 11 points.
