RICHMOND, Ind. --- Carlow University women’s basketball ended its regular season schedule with an 83-61 River States Conference loss at Indiana University East on Saturday.
The Red Wolves (13-16, 11-6 RSC) led, 41-25, at halftime over the Celtics (9-21, 4-13 RSC, 3-3 USCAA).
IU East outscored the Celtics, 42-36, in the second half.
Three Celtics contributed double-digit figures on the day.
Freshman Megan Ost (Apollo, Pa.) had a double-double effort on the night with a team-high 19 points and 16 rebounds. She was 5 for 5 from the charity stripe.
Delaney Daly (JR/Pittsburgh, Pa.) scored 17 points, including five treys.
Senior Kayla Brownlee (Pittsburgh, Pa.) added 12 points, four of which were three-pointers.
The Red Wolves bench contributed 45 points on the night.
The Celtics are currently ranked ninth in the USCAA Division I Coaches’ Poll that came out Feb. 13 and have a chance to attend the USCAA Championships March 6-9.
Division I bid day is scheduled for Feb. 26, where USCAA schools will learn if they are attending and if so, their ranking in the tournament.
