Washington Adventist upends Men’s Soccer in USCAA match up

TAKOMA PARK, Md. -- Carlow University men’s soccer lost, 6-1, in a USCAA match against Washington Adventist University Mon., Oct. 15 in Takoma Park, Md.

The Celtics (3-10, 0-6 RSC, 2-3 USCAA) fell behind, 2-0, to the Shock (7-3-1) before halftime.

Janvier Ramson (FR/Pittsburgh, Pa.) scored his ninth goal of the season off an assist by Zach Wagner (JR/Pittsburgh, Pa.) in the 53rd minute to cut the lead to 2-1.

The Shock pulled away, scoring minutes later at 57’ and also at 68’ to extend the lead to 4-1.

Washington Adventist added two more goals at 77’ and 80’ for a final score of 6-1.

Adam Myers (JR/McKeesport, Pa.) made five saves in the complete game effort in goal.

The Celtics celebrate Senior Day on Thurs., Oct. 18 before their 7:30 p.m. RSC game against Asbury (Ky.) University at Highmark Stadium.
