MCKEESPORT, Pa. --- Carlow University volleyball swept Penn State Greater Allegheny, 3-0, in a USCAA match Wednesday, Sept. 26.

The Celtics (6-8, 1-1 RSC, 5-3 USCAA) defeated the Lions (3-9) 25-16, 25-16 and 25-5.

Carlow led 10-9 in the first set before a few key kills and costly PSU Greater Allegheny errors allowed them to pull away with the lead.

In the second set, the Celtics took an early 15-9 lead, and the Lions were never able to recover.

Carlow made quick work of the third set, up 16-2 before allowing Greater Allegheny another point.

Senior Mandy Toman (Beulah, Colo.) led the team with seven kills and seven digs.

Jenna Albert (FR/Monongahela, Pa.) put up 13 assists, and Haley Chiusano (FR/Pittsburgh, Pa.) added seven digs in the effort.
