Celtics earn first RSC win of season against OCU

The Carlow volleyball team battled to victory against Ohio Christian University, 3-2 (25-20, 16-25, 25-21, 16-25, 15-10) for its first River States Conference win of the season Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School.

Carlow middle hitter Cache Street (SO/Wilmerding, Pa.) had an efficient night at the net, earning seven kills while hitting .278 to lead the Celtics in attack percentage.

Michaela Koran (SR/North Olmsted, Ohio) had a strong all-around performance of nine kills, 14 assists, 11 digs, and 2.5 blocks. Jenna Albert (FR/Monongahela, Pa.) dished a team-high of 24 assists and Mariah Lomire (FR/Pittsburgh, Pa.) had 24 digs.

Carlow (4-6/1-1/3-2) next plays at Penn State Beaver on Thursday.
