No. 1 Spring Arbor pulls away in second half

The Carlow women’s soccer team fell to NAIA No. Spring Arbor University, 3-0, on Monday, Sept. 17, at Highmark Field.

The Celtics (0-4/0-0/0-0) put up a fight in the first half, keeping the score knotted at 0 at the break, before the Cougars (5-0-1) pulled away late.

Paige Schindehette (SO/Bethel Park, Pa.) made four saves in the first half, and Lauren Forte (FR/Johnstown, Pa.) made four in the second half.

The Celtics travel to Cincinnati Christian on Thursday for their first River States Conference match of the season.
