Celtics set to face IUS in RSC Softball Tournament

The Carlow softball team has qualified for the River States Conference Tournament, which will be held May 4-5, at the Darrell Dotson Complex at Jackson Park, in Vienna, W.Va.

The Celtics, who have an 18-15 overall record and an 8-10 mark in RSC play, drew the No. 7 seed in the 8-team, double-elimination tournament.

Carlow will play No. 2 Indiana University Southeast, at 12pm May 4. The winner will advance to the second round to face the winner of No. 3 Midway and No. 6 Cincinnati Christian, at 4:30pm.

The Grenadiers finished the regular season with a 24-12 record, including a 14-4 record in RSC play. They defeated the Celtics, 5-0 and 8-0, on April 28.
