Acrie named USCAA Second-Team All-American

Carlow forward Tony Acrie was named a 2017-18 USCAA Second-Team All-American after a standout junior campaign.

The Johnstown, Pa. native finished the season averaging 15.74 points and 8.37 rebounds per game while shooting 47.5 percent from the field.

The Pennsylvania Highlands Community College transfer posted single game-highs of 35 points and 18 rebounds in his first season at Carlow.

The Celtics, in their fourth year of competition, finished the season with a program-best 6-21 overall record and 6-11 River States Conference record, qualifying for the RSC tournament for the first time.
