Hudock garners RSC Second Team honors

Carlow outside hitter Kristina Hudock was selected to the River States Conference Volleyball All-Conference Second Team, voted on by the league’s coaches.

This is the second straight season Hudock, a senior from Uniontown, Pa., has garnered this honor. She was also named a USCAA First-Team All-American, an RSC Scholar-Athlete, an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, and a USCAA Academic All-American for her performance on the court and in the classroom this year.

Hudock hit the prestigious 1,000th-career kill mark this season, finishing the regular season with 340 kills. An all-around player, Hudock also contributed 325 digs and 15 serving aces.

She led the Celtics to an overall record of 11-24 and an RSC record of 3-13. Carlow also went 6-3 in USCAA play during the regular season, qualifying for the USCAA National Championship Tournament.

Hannah Kaminski was honored as Carlow’s representative on the RSC Champions of Character team.
