Trailblazers duo too much for Celtics

The Carlow volleyball team fell to Ohio Christian, 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-17), on the road as the Trailblazers celebrated their senior night.

Two OCU players hit double digits in kills and digs. Lexi Jacobs had 10 kills and 16 digs, and Karee Neff had 10 kills and 10 digs. Jacobs also added two serving aces.

Michaela Koran (JR/North Olmsted, Ohio) had 27 assists and eight digs. Kristina Hudock (SR/Uniontown, Pa.) had 11 kills and 13 digs and Mia Marmion (SR/Upper St. Clair, Pa.) had 29 digs.

Shelby Greece (SO/Vandergrift, Pa.) led the Celtics in hitting percentage, at .364, with four kills and no errors on 11 attempts.

The Celtics (10-15/3-8/6-3) next play a tri-match with Brescia and Indiana University Southeast on Saturday, Oct. 21. They return home to host the Trailblazers in rematch and celebrate their own senior night on Oct. 27.
