The Carlow men’s golf team competed at the Carnegie Mellon University Fall Shootout on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16-17.
Hunter Marshall (SO/Pittsburgh, Pa.) led the Celtics with a 164 for the two-day event at the Links at Spring Church. He shot an 86 on the first day and a 78 on the second day on the par-70, 6,310-yard course.
Louis Stefanik (FR/Vandergrift, Pa.) shot 79 the first day and 87 the second day for a total 166.
Nick Paone (SO/Export, Pa.) and Ryan Bradigan-Barnett (SO/Dayton, Pa.) also competed for Carlow, helping the Celtics post their best score of the season on the second day, with a 358. Each golfer improved from the first two outings, while playing against top competition from NCAA Division III schools.
Carlow is back in action Sept. 30, against Waynesburg University, at Cedarbook Golf Course, in Belle Vernon, Pa.
