Two Carlow basketball players were honored as members of their respective RSC Champions of Character Team.
Zach Bryan, a junior point guard from Irwin, Pa., was Carlow’s representative on the men’s team.
Sami Simpson, a junior forward from Bethel Park, Pa., represented the Celtics on the women’s team.
The award recognizes athletes who best display the NAIA’s Champions of Character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership.
Bryan played and started in every contest this year, averaging 7.9 points, 3.47 assists and 1.17 steals per game.
Simpson also appeared in every game for her team, averaging 3.32 points and 2.43 rebounds per game.
